Youtube is the 2nd most visited site in the world and we all love it because we can get whatever we want on Youtube. Entertainment, knowledge or tutorials everything is available on youtube.
Almost all Google sites only have apps for mobile devices and they don’t have an app for Windows and Mac users like Netflix and Spotify do. However, some third-party alternatives like Awesome Tube have the potential to make your life a little bit brighter in that regard.

Awesome Tube has a pretty nice interface, just a little different from YouTube on the web, but it has some features/options that you can see only in mobile apps. For example, at the top, you can see the subscribed channel icons and their stories. Next to each icon you can see the number of new videos that you have pending to watch on that channel. It’s an excellent way to stay up to date, especially if you follow many channels and do not get notifications.
The interface is a bit like the applications for devices such as video game consoles, or touchscreen devices, so if you have a touchscreen device with Windows 10 you’ll really enjoy this app.
The Watch page for videos has the comments panel on the right and the description and links below, plus it also has a search icon such as the web and mobile apps. You can search, manage your subscriptions and library, and even upload videos from the app. And, it also has support to transmit to other devices such as the Chromecast.
The only bad thing about the app is ads, but if you want to use it for free it’s something you’ll have to endure. If you want to get rid of ads you need to buy the premium version of the app.
